ORDERING 

How do I order online?

All the products you see on the Party Britain website are available to buy online. Just click on the product you wish to purchase, select the size if required and click the 'Add to Basket' button. You will then be able to go and continue shopping for additional items if you wish or you can click 'Proceed to Checkout' when you are ready to enter in your delivery and payment details.

What costume size should I order?

Each product detail page has approximate size information for that costume but it's important to remember that unlike every day clothing fancy dress costumes are designed and made to fit a wide variety of sizes. If in doubt, we would recommend that it's usually best to order a larger size. It's worth noting that the main reason for returned items is because the costume was too small for the customer.

Is ordering online with Party Britain safe and secure?

Yes, absolutely. Our secure server uses a 128-bit SSL certificate thereby offering the highest level of encryption or security possible to protect your information between the browser and our servers. 

What cards do Party Britain accept?

We accept the following cards: Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Solo. Don't forget we also offer the option of paying through PayPal. At this time we can't offer payment by American Express or Diners Club.

Do your prices include VAT?

All the prices in our online store are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable at the prevailing rates.

Can I pay by any other method?

Yes. If you wish to do so you can pay for your order using PayPal. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques or postal orders.

Do I have to order online?

Ordering online with us is quick and easy with a safe and secure way of paying and allows us to keep costs down and therefore prices down. For your security we are unable to take orders over the phone at this time.

How do I make changes to my order?

Our goal is to process and dispatch orders as soon as possible so once your order has been submitted on the website we CANNOT make any changes to it. Therefore, please double-check all of your delivery information and the items ordered prior to confirming your order.

Do you send any confirmation emails?

You will receive an order confirmation email (at the email address you entered during the checkout process) and you will then also receive an email alerting you that your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

 

DISPATCH & DELIVERY

How much will posting and packing cost?

Our Standard Delivery charge is just £3.95 per order and is delivered in 2-3 working days. Next Day Delivery option costs £7.95 and will be delivered by close of business the next day. On top of that for those that have left things to the very last minute we also offer a Next Day Saturday Delivery for £12.95. Click here for more detailed delivery information.

When will my order arrive?

Orders placed before 4.30pm (Monday-Friday) are dispatched the same day. With Standard Delivery you can expect your goods to arrive up to 2-3 working days after placing your order.

With Next Day Delivery your order could arrive anytime from first thing in the morning up until close of business. Next Working Day Delivery orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Click here for more detailed delivery information.

Do you deliver to my country?

Party Britain offers a range of delivery options within the United Kingdom. This includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and all the off shore islands. Sorry but we don't currently offer International Shipping.

What if I'm not in when you deliver my parcel?

The carrier will leave you a card informing you that delivery has been attempted. On this card will be instructions on how to obtain your parcel. The driver may decide to leave the parcel in a safe place at your property if no answer. During the order checkout you can specify special instructions for the courier.

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

What is your returns policy?

Can I cancel an order if it is no longer required?

Yes, of course. If you wish to cancel an order or part of an order pre-shipment then you wll need to be fast about it as we process and dispatch orders quickly, sometimes even just minutes after an order has been received. Contact us below with your order number and details.

If your order has already been dispatched then you have a 7 day cooling-off period under the UK's Distance Selling Regulations. This means that you have seven working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase from us for a full refund. However, this does not apply to items that cannot be returned which are stipulated in our returns policy.

How do I return an item?

To return an item please follow the instructions and complete the returns form that came with your order. Send it back to us at your local post office. Please note that the item(s) is your responsibility until it reaches us so for your own protection we recommend getting free "proof of posting".

How long will it take for you to refund me?

Please allow up to 7 working days for us to process a refund. Once this has been done you will receive an email confirming this. If you paid using a credit or debit card please then allow a further 3-5 working days for the refund to be credited to your account - this is down to your bank or card issuer and is not to do with Party Britain.

What if my order contains an item which is faulty?

If a product you receive is faulty, you should let us know immediately as we will happily refund or exchange the item. Contact us quoting your order number, your name, details of the product and what the fault is, and whether you require a refund or a replacement.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

We currently have a store based in Bridgend in South Wales. Click here for more information.

Do you sell wholesale?

No, we do not. We are a retailer selling directly to the public and do not manufacturer or supply products wholesale to the trade.
