Sixth Formers Doing Their Bit
King Alfred School saw it’s sixth form students really doing their bit for charity in Rag Week. The students walked the streets of Highbridge and Burnham in fancy dress costumes collecting money for a selection of charities chosen by themselves. The streets were in for a real fancy dress treat. There was no lack of effort in the students fancy dress ideas. The fancy dress costumes included Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Superman, Lara Croft, Mrs Incredible and Ghostbusters fancy dress outfits – what a spectacle!
This commendable fancy dress effort by the students raised money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Guide Dogs for the Blind charities – way to go!
