With Children In Need raising over £20 million it seems that there was no shortage of fancy dress fund raising efforts to help the total on its way. Here are a few more commendable fancy dress fund raising events that definitely deserve a mention…

Schools, colleges and businesses in North Lincolnshire really got into the fancy dress spirit. Children and adults got into their fancy dress costumes to help raise money. One student chose to dress up as Banana Man and managed to generate lots of cash as well as laughs from his choice of fancy dress costume. Scunthorpes Asda store saw a vibrant array of fancy dress costumes including Snow White, Mary Poppins and the Wizard of Oz fancy dress outfits. The security gaurd even joined in dressing up as a fancy dress jester!

Sheldon School in Chippenham went for a pirate fancy dress theme. The pupils came to school in their swashbuckling fancy dress costume and the sixth formers even attempted to form a mile long of 20p coins, ooh arrr!

In Dorset, Weymouth College went fancy dress crazy for a day. One construction student dressed up as a kinky construction worker, what a great fancy dress idea! We have DIY Babe and Home Wrecker fancy dress outfits that would fit the theme well. The whole class spent the day in fancy dress costumes, including the male lecturer who went as a fancy dress fairy – excellent!
