A fancy dress reveller in New Zealand got more than he bargained for at a fancy dress party last week. His fancy dress idea was certainly a little risque – but who can blame him for wanting an alternative fancy dress costume? Dressed as a terrorist the party goer caused all sorts of havock in Havelock North.

After a game of fancy dress football in a park the fancy dress terrorist left his fancy dress bomb behind – the obvious choice of fancy dress accessory no doubt?! The fake explosives resulted in police evacuating local areas and calling in the bomb squad. When the police has got to the bottom of this fancy dress dilema a couple of the revellers had to return to the park to identify the fake bomb – what a palaver, but better to be safe than sorry I guess.

The police did not press charges on the fancy dress terrorist, but I’m sure he won’t be donning that fancy dress outfit again!
